Dr. Thronson is a primary care internist at Harborview Medical Center and a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Washington. Her clinical practice is in the Adult Medicine Clinic and on the inpatient Medicine service at Harborview.

Dr. Thronson earned her undergraduate degree from Reed College in 2001 and her medical degree from Harvard University in 2005. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Washington, followed by a fellowship in medical education, in 2009. She is committed to teaching in addition to medical care. She is part of the core teaching faculty of the University of Washington’s School of Medicine and an Associate Program Director for the University of Washington Internal Medicine Residency Program. She oversees a primary care elective for senior students in the School of Medicine and the training of residents as educators in the Residency Program.
