Dr. Floyd leads the University of Washington Cardiovascular Health Research Unit. His research, supported by several NIH grants, seeks to identify new causes of cardiovascular diseases using a variety of tools and methodologies, including epidemiological studies, genomics, proteomics, and artificial intelligence. He has leadership roles in several national NHLBI-funded studies of cardiovascular disease, including the Multi-ethnic Observational Study in American Asian and Pacific Islander Communities (MOSAAIC) and the Cardiovascular Health Study (CHS).
