Dr. Mukherjee's substantive areas of research are the genetics of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia (ADRD) with focus on genetic architecture of neuropsychological and neuropathological endophenotypes associated with older adults. Dr. Mukherjee has a strong methodological background in statistical methods and genetic analyses and experience with secondary data analysis of ADRD endophenotypes. He is an active member of the AD Genetics Consortium (ADGC) and the International Genomics of Alzheimer’s project (IGAP).
