Biography

Maralyssa Bann, MD is a hospitalist at Harborview Medical Center where she has previously served as Director of Hospital Medicine and as Associate Medical Director for Acute Care. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and holds a faculty appointment as Assistant Professor in the UW Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Bann specializes in inpatient care that emphasizes equity, harm reduction, and patient-centeredness. Her research efforts focus on studying hospital-based healthcare delivery in a safety net setting. She also mentors students and trainees throughout the UW system.
