Biography

Maralyssa Bann, MD is a hospitalist at Harborview Medical Center where she also serves as Associate Medical Director for Acute Care. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and holds a faculty appointment as Assistant Professor in the UW Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Bann specializes in inpatient care that emphasizes equity, harm reduction, and patient-centeredness. Her research efforts focus on studying hospital-based healthcare delivery in a safety net setting. She also mentors students and trainees throughout the UW system.
