Dr. Sharon Inouye, MD, MPH, will be our speaker for the 30th Annual Pecoraro Lecture on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024. Dr. Inouye is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School, serves as the Milton and Shirley F. Levy Family Chair, Director of the Aging Brain Center at the Hinda and Arthur Marcus Institute for Aging Research, as well as the Editor in Chief of JAMA Internal Medicine. She is recognized for her research in cognitive disorders of aging as well as her leadership in health innovation, helping to develop the Hospital Elder Life Program which is an approach to prevent delirium and functional decline in hospitalized older persons. She also serves as an advisor on several councils and organizations, including the National Advisory Council on Aging.
