Research Interests: Diabetes, obesity, women’s health, sex/gender differences in metabolic disease, maternal health, developmental origins of metabolic disease, Long COVID

Opportunities for fellows: Secondary analyses of observational datasets or randomized trials in diabetes, obesity, or cardiometabolic disease. I am also glad to work with motivated fellows to develop small-scale projects that include prospective data collection.

Mentoring philosophy: I love to help people learn how to do research that is meaningful to them and has the potential for real clinical or scientific impact.
