Eric Larson, clinical professor, has been studying aging and cognitive health for decades. This summer he published a book to help people age well and decrease their chance of developing dementia or experiencing other declines in memory and thinking. Enlightened Aging: Building Resilience for a Long, Active Life was written with Joan DeClaire, a science writer and the communications director at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute where Dr. Larson is also the vice president for research and health care innovation for the Washington state region.
