Biography

Maralyssa Bann, MD is a hospitalist at Harborview Medical Center where she also serves as Associate Medical Director for Acute Care. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and holds a faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor in the UW Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Bann specializes in the inpatient care of adult patients while centering equity, harm reduction, and patient-centeredness. Her research efforts focus on studying hospital-based healthcare delivery in a safety net setting. She also mentors students and trainees throughout the UW system.
