Biography

Pronouns: he/him

Jesse originates from the Pacific Northwest and attended the UW School of Medicine before going to the University of Wisconsin for internal medicine residency. He stayed in Madison for an additional three years where he worked as a hospitalist before returning to Seattle to complete a Geriatric Medicine fellowship.

He is passionate about caring for all adults in the acute medical setting, with a special interest in providing age-appropriate care to older adults in a way that puts their priorities front and center, and minimizes potential harms from their medical care. He is interested in understanding how implicit biases impact the way physicians treat their patients, as well as how and when providers should discuss important end-of-life decisions with their patients.
