Clinical Associate ProfessorMedicine Faculty Information Biography Grady Paden is a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice & Palliative Medicine and the American College of Physicians. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine. As an attending physician in Palliative Care and Medicine at VA Puget Sound he provides palliative care consultation for patients and families, as well as providing Internal Medicine and Geriatrics care to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings. As an educator he provides Palliative Care and Internal Medicine education for trainees from all disciplines and levels. As a VitalTalk senior faculty member he teaches serious illness communication skills to clinicians in health care institutions nationally and internationally. Other professional interests include medical ethics. He enjoys outdoor pursuits, including any type of skiing, backpacking, and swimming.
