Clinical Assistant ProfessorMedicine Faculty Information Biography Dr. LaMotte is a board-certified internist working as a hospital-based physician at UWMC – Montlake, with the title of clinical assistant professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine. He feels privileged to work with hospitalized patients, who are often experiencing a critical and stressful event in their lives and facing important decisions about their medical care. He is a medical educator with an interest in both undergraduate and graduate medical education. Teaching interests include diagnostic reasoning and the use of technology in education. Outside of the hospital, Dr. LaMotte enjoys powerlifting, sailing, and reading.
